Description

This article describes the process to expand disk space for a SDI server

Solution

To expand disk space for an SDI server, follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Expand the disk space for the VM instance by navigating to VM instance > Right Click > Edit Settings > Expand the existing disk space.
2. Login to the Console for the SDI as the admin user.
3. Enter the server  mode
4. Run the command:
sdi:Core#(server)# set disk-partition-to-full

Warning: Not all of the space available to /dev/sda appears to be used, you can fix the GPT to use all of the space (an extra 643825664 blocks) or continue with the current setting?

Resizing partition 2 to new end 3221225438...
sdi:Core#(server)#

4. Once this is done, you can check the disk space and it would be expanded.

Please note that the capability to expand the disk space in SDI was introduced in 22.3 SDI versions and above.
