This article explains about the issue faced on vSRX where this error encountered 'remote commit-configuration failed on node 1' while doing the configuration.

The below listed symptoms were observed while troubleshooting the issue.

1. Error mentioned below was observed during the commit operation on SRX.

2. During the commit process, errors related to IDP attack group and policy was observed.

During the configuration of the SRX, while doing the commit 'remote commit-configuration failed on node 1' error got encountered and multiple IDP related errors were visible on node 1 of the SRX chassis cluster.

Upon checking, it was found that the IDP signature database was not present on the node 1. Invalid licenses were installed on the vSRX for IDP and VCPU scale.

Post installing the correct license keys and performing the IDP signature database installation, the commit got succeeded without any errors.
