PTX10001-36MR: 0/X/5 and 0/X/7 to be explicitly powered off/unused (FPC/PIC/Port) if use port speed of 40G, 25G or 10G on port 0/X/4 and 0/X/6.
Refer Table 7: Unused Port Settings:

e.g.
Ports 0/X/4 to 0/X/7 are gearbox ports.
They are all 100G capable ports, not required to power off any 100G cable ports.
But if need to change port speed of 40-Gbps, 25-Gbps, and 10-Gbps, then can change the port speed on 0/X/4 and 0/X/6 only, must explicitly power off 0/X/5 and 0/X/7.
But if need to change port speed to 40-Gbps, 25-Gbps, and 10-Gbps, then can change the port speed on 0/X/4 and 0/X/6 only, must explicitly power off 0/X/5 and 0/X/7.
Working 100G port on 0/X/4 can go down if configured port 0/X/5 as 10G with SFP+ adapter.
