Description

Auto-negotiation is not working and have to disable auto-negotiation (no auto-negotiation) on both ends for bringing the link UP

Symptoms

Link stays down when Auto-negotiation is ON

Solution

The 1G Optic/Fibre port is not capable of Auto-negotiation (Even SFP-T only supports 1G purely)

The inbuilt pic0/slot0 ports does support Auto-negotiation
