This article provides the command that should be used whenever it is required to zeroize a Juniper Networks switch

The customer requires to zeroize a Juniper Networks switch and is aware that the configuration will be lost.

Note both Zeroize and USB Format Install procedures will wipe out everything from the switch, for which we suggest backing up your configuration for latter commit afterwards.

If aware of this and ready, you may proceed with the Zeroize process as per below:

user@switch> request system zeroize media
