Description

User lost all his configlet configuration when they changed the hostname of the device.

Symptoms

User created multiple configlets and while importing the configlet to the blueprint, user has choose HOSTNAME option and applied to the device and commit it. All the configlets are applied to the specified device.

However, later user changed the Hostname of one device for which the applied configlets with the previous hostname condition did not match and all the applied configlets are removed from the hostname changed device. 
 

Solution

While importing configlet to blueprint we have options like Role, Name, Hostname, System Tags. 

If user has requirement to change the hostname in future then user has to import the configlets with "NAME" option so that even after hostname change it won't impact any of the configlet which were applied with NAME option.
