Following an upgrade to 22.4R3 or 23.4R1, within your event log (typically messages), you may see the following example for either IPv4 or IPv6:
Jun 4 19:57:00.773 2024 SRX-host nsd[32240]: NSD_CLEAR_POLICY_DNS_CACHE_ENTRY_IP: DNS responses for domain www.123.com take error codes, DNS cache entry's IPv4 list is cleared!
Per https://apps.juniper.net/syslog-explorer/?msg=NSD_CLEAR_POLICY_DNS_CACHE_ENTRY_IP&sw=Junos%20OS&rel=23.4R1, this is a relatively new log entry (at the time of this writing) which was added in Junos versions 22.4R3 and 23.4R1.
This is not an error but rather an informative message indicating that the DNS cached IP entry has been cleared that is normally stored under 'show security dns-cache'. This would not hamper anything DNS related and the SRX will still query and cache the responses for use with the security policies or the like.
