Description

In this article, we will describe how to remove the J-Web Application Package.

Symptoms

The customer might want to remove the J-Web Application Package to add a new one as J-Web sometimes does not let the customer upgrade J-Web from the application.

Solution

From the CLI, the customer can use this command:

 

{master:0}

root@user> request system software delete jweb-ex-app

Package jweb-ex-app-common-21.4A2.3 is deactivated

Uninstalling jweb-ex-app package..

Unmounting /jail/var/jweb-app/jweb-ex-app

Successfully uninstalled..

 

The customer would not need to reboot the device and he/she can install the new application package right away.
