Difference of 1 second in TOD (Time Of the Day) between EEC (Ethernet Equipment Clock) and PTP FPGA (Precision Time Protocol Field Programmable Gateway Array).  The difference causes the PTP packets originating from PTP FPGA to pass through FPC with higher CF (correction field) approximately 1 second. 

The downstream device connected to the Junos OS Evolved platform  receives incorrect synchronization, specifically an incorrect CF/Offset value. This issue occurs because the time monitoring logic fails to trigger seconds correction, due to an error in sub-second comparison. As a result, incorrect time monitoring seconds calculation occurs in some of the line cards when PTP is configured.
