Description

This article provides information about an issue seen with QFX10002 when it was upgraded to 22.2R3-S3.18.

Symptoms

1. All the bgp sessions down.
2. FPC did not initialize properly and it crashed resulting into all the interfaces being down.
3. Following errors seen in the logs

277 May  7 01:07:02  QFX10K fpc0 CMQFX: UFT not supported on this slot 0.
278 May  7 01:07:02  QFX10K fpc0 pechip_cmerror_fo_intr_handler:26352: PE-0[0]: FO core intr: Fab Packet length error 




 

Solution

Since the FPC failed to initialize try to reboot/power-cycle the device.
If the fpc still does not come up then RMA the device.
