Description

This article provides steps to enable the Juniper Secure Connect Client to save usernames and passwords.

Solution

Since Junos 22.1R1, SRX supports the credentials feature, allowing Juniper Secure Connect Client to store usernames and passwords. However, Juniper Secure Connect Client offers these functionalities for different operating systems, starting from the following versions:

Windows: 23.4.13.14

MacOS: 23.3.4.70

iOS: 23.2.2.3

Android: 24.1.5.30

 

Configuration Steps:

 

For J-Web:

1. Log in to J-Web.
2. Navigate to Network > VPN > IPsec VPN > Create VPN > Remote Access > Juniper Secure Connect > Remote User.
3. Enable Save username to store the remote username and enable Save password to store both the username and password.

 

For CLI:

set security remote-access client-config JNPR_CLIENT credentials username  ## To save Username Only
set security remote-access client-config JNPR_CLIENT credentials password  ## To save Both Username and Password
