Traffic has been sent to vlan interface but ipdemux hasn't received it.
This issue looks like ipdemux interface filter doesn't work, the traffic has been forwarded by vlan interface.
Dhcp subscriber login and created ipdemux interface:
user@mx# run show subscribers extensive Type: DHCP User Name: dhcp IP Address: 192.168.0.2 IP Netmask: 255.255.0.0 Primary DNS Address: 10.0.0.1 Secondary DNS Address: 10.0.0.2 Logical System: default Routing Instance: default Interface: demux0.3221225472 Interface type: Dynamic Underlying Interface: xe-0/2/0.100 Dynamic Profile Name: ipdemux-profile MAC Address: 00:10:94:00:00:04 State: Active Radius Accounting ID: 1 Session ID: 1 PFE Flow ID: 33 VLAN Id: 100 Login Time: 2024-04-01 10:42:28 CST DHCP Options: len 53 35 01 01 39 02 02 40 3d 07 01 00 10 94 00 00 04 33 04 00 00 00 3c 0c 15 63 6c 69 65 6e 74 5f 50 6f 72 74 20 2f 2f 31 2f 31 2d 30 2d 30 37 06 01 03 06 0f 21 2c DHCP Header: len 44 01 01 06 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 80 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 94 00 00 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 IP Address Pool: dhcpv4 IPv4 Input Filter Name: 10m-demux0.3221225472-in IPv4 Output Filter Name: 10m-demux0.3221225472-out Accounting interval: 600 Dynamic configuration: junos-input-filter: 10m junos-output-filter: 10m

This issue could be caused by demux source has not configured on vlan interface.
There are two methods adding demux source, only one can take effect. If configured two knobs at same time, commit check will report error.
For static vlan:
1.#set interfaces xe-0/2/0 unit 100 demux-source inet 2.#set interfaces xe-0/2/0 unit 100 demux inet address source
For dynamic vlan:
1.#set dynamic-profiles vlan-profile interfaces "$junos-interface-ifd-name" unit "$junos-interface-unit" demux-source inet 2.#set dynamic-profiles vlan-profile interfaces "$junos-interface-ifd-name" unit "$junos-interface-unit" demux inet address source
After modified configuration, dhcp subscriber needs to redial and let new configuration take effect.
user@mx# run show subscribers extensive Type: DHCP User Name: dhcp IP Address: 192.168.0.3 IP Netmask: 255.255.0.0 Primary DNS Address: 8.8.8.8 Secondary DNS Address: 8.8.4.4 Logical System: default Routing Instance: default Interface: demux0.3221225473 Interface type: Dynamic Underlying Interface: xe-0/2/0.100 Dynamic Profile Name: ipdemux-profile MAC Address: 00:10:94:00:00:04 State: Active Radius Accounting ID: 2 Session ID: 2 PFE Flow ID: 35 VLAN Id: 100 Login Time: 2024-04-01 10:49:05 CST DHCP Options: len 53 35 01 01 39 02 02 40 3d 07 01 00 10 94 00 00 04 33 04 00 00 00 3c 0c 15 63 6c 69 65 6e 74 5f 50 6f 72 74 20 2f 2f 31 2f 31 2d 30 2d 30 37 06 01 03 06 0f 21 2c DHCP Header: len 44 01 01 06 00 00 00 00 02 00 00 80 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 10 94 00 00 04 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 IP Address Pool: dhcpv4 IPv4 Input Filter Name: 10m-demux0.3221225473-in IPv4 Output Filter Name: 10m-demux0.3221225473-out Accounting interval: 600 Dynamic configuration: junos-input-filter: 10m junos-output-filter: 10m
