This article describes the smoothest way to shut down an SRX cluster to cause the least impact to the rest of the network.
1. Fail over all RGs to the node that is current primary for RG0
request chassis cluster failover redundancy-group 1 node #request chassis cluster failover redundancy-group 2 node #
2. Power off the backup node
request system power-off
3. Power off the primary node
