In MPLS EVPN AA mode, the customer may only deploy the uplink in one PE, in order to reduce the network convergence time and speed up the MAC learning process, the customer can use df-election-type preference value to set this PE to be DF router.

Use preference-based DF Election: adding DF preference value to the PE routers, for example:

Force the PE with uplink to be DF router - set interfaces <interface_name> esi df-election-type preference 1000

the PE without uplink to be non-DF router - set interfaces <interface_name> esi df-election-type preference 900
