This article explains why an "SIB 0 Cell Drop Error" minor alarm may be seen on QFX10002 Series devices and what should be done to resolve the error.
When the Switch Interface Board (SIB) is unable to send fabric traffic towards the FPC, a SIB Cell Drop Error minor alarm is logged. In QFX10002, the SIB module is inbuilt on the device.

The message log displays the following:

This minor alarm is raised when the cell drop rate threshold is exceeded in the event that an device undergoes an abrupt restart or an FPC is under an error condition, such that the SIB is unable to send fabric traffic towards the FPC. To resolve the alarm, you can try to reboot the device using the below command or proceed to power drain the device.

If the issue persists, please contact JTAC to have the device replaced as this is a potential hardware failure.
