[SSR] - Instructions to reset forgotten admin password

Solution

Login to machine as user t128 and use sudo su - to elevate to root.

  

failock --user admin --reset 

 

Then 

 

passwd admin 

 

Then for pcli we can do below.. 

 

set password 

 

Below is an example: 

 

  1. Login to the shell as root user. 
  2. Execute “faillock --user admin --reset” 
  3. Execute “passwd admin”  
  4. Give the New password: exampleABCUC-1atE#e7# 
  5. Retype new password: ABCUC-1atE#e8# 
  6. Enter PCLI "su admin" 
  7. Execute "set password" 
  8. Enter your current password: ABCUC-1atE#e7# 
  9. Enter a new password: ABCUC-1atE#e7#
