Description

  • This article addresses the case where a JWeb and JSC (Juniper Secure Connect) both the accessible, even though, only the JSC (Juniper Secure Connect) is Configured and  there is no JWeb configuration.

Symptoms

  • JWeb (https) not allowed on any interface
  • Only JSC is configured
  • however, still https (Jweb) is accessible

Solution

  • This issue has been fixed on 22.4R3, 23.2R1-S2 and onwards.
  • J-web is not accessible or is not launched using the external interface when JSC is configured in the same interface.

  • JWeb is only accessible using the url - "https://<interface IP>/admin" when "set system services web-management management-url admin" CLI is configured.
