Solution

  1. Check the Apstra 4.1.2 VM UI version under Platform > About, the Juniper Apstra UI version should be 4.1.2-187, this version means 4.1.2 UI does not have "Force update" button.
  2. Download the Apstra 4.1.2 UI patch aos-web-ui.run from here . Once dowloaded, scp this file to Apstra VM.
  3. Make sure the correct permissions are set to execute this file on Apstra VM.
  4. Apply the UI patch by running- "sudo bash aos-web-ui.run". Apply-UI-Patch
