Description

This article describe the issue where Job Archive and Purge fails with below error:

"An error occurred while purging the information from JobInstance and its reference tables"

Solution


This issue will occur only if the "All" option has been chosen as Job Type for Archive and Purge as below:

NOTE: Individual table archive and purge are still possible (issue only with All).

This is a known issue and fixed in Junos Space 24.1R1.
This issue will also be fixed in the latest hotpatch of 22.2 V5 onwards and 21.3 hotpatch V9 onwards, and Space 24.1 release.
