Description

  • All the PICs of the impacted FPC will go offline and will come back only after soft restart.
  • The log messages are as follows-

Solution

  • The logs state that there was I2C communication issue between the FPC-1 and its PICs which caused all the PICs of the impacted FPC to lose connection and report alarm.
  • It got resolved after rebooting the device.
  • The issue is not expected to reoccur.
