LED status light on the IDP-Bypass unit (adjacent to the power LED)

The status light is to the right side of the power LED, and both are located on the front bezel of the IDP-Bypass unit. what is the meaning behind the different color of the' LED on the front bexel of the box?

Blinking green LED' means the Bypass unit is passive...therefore the IDP (attached via IDP-in and IDP-out interfaces) is the primary device handling the traffic.

Blinking orange LED means bypass is enabled and Active... it handles passing the traffic...and the IDP (attached via IDP-in and IDP-out interfaces) box is down.
