On EX4300-24T and EX4300-48T switches, a discernible rattling sound may emanate from the 40G QSFP cage.

Solution

This is a standard mechanical design feature involving the heatsink on the 40G QSFP cage with a floating design. It is important to note that this design is unique to the EX4300-24T/48T series switches, and there is no need for customers to request an RMA for their switches due to this design characteristic.
