Description

FPC Major errors alarm may trigger if "XQCHIP JGCI MAJOR_CRC_ERROR" log message is observed and FPC may reboot.

Solution

The above logs are caused by to CRC error on JGI(Juniper GigaChip).

If the FPC is not rebooted by the error manager, PFE can be disabled by the system. Restart the FPC. A single occurrence indicates a transient Issue.

If the issue is seen repeatedly even after restarting the FPC, contact Support for further investigation and assistance.
