Solution

  • HMC (Hybrid Memory Cubic) is the memory module. This issue could be caused by an HMC transient hardware issue.
  • These are transient errors reported on the HMCIF Link between HMC-PFE.
  • These errors are non-service affecting.
  • In future releases, this error will not generate an alarm and would only show as a syslog message.

Reset the FPC during a maintenance window clear the alarm.
