Symptoms

EX4400 cannot execute ZTP using the button on the front panel.

If you want to execute ZTP on the EX4400, you have to use the cli operation after logging in to the chassis.

Solution

The ZTP operation works by removing and reinsertion of the power cable instead of the reset button.

Here is an operation of ZTP for the EX4400.

Step 1: Press the factory reset/mode button on the EX4400 and change Port Mode to EN.

Step 2: Press and hold for 10-20 seconds. Factory reset/mode button on the EX4400 (the EX4400 loads the factory default configuration).

Step 3: Power cycle to load zeroise configuration.
