Description

On Juniper Networks QFX5110 VC. The "show chassis environment" output will show the PEM and FAN tray status of backup member as absent. Although, the units will work normal without any issue

WORKAROUND

Restart lcmd of the affected member

 

start shell user root

ps aux | grep lcmd

Then issue, kill -9 <PID>
