Ethernet ports may not forwards traffic properly due to a software defect leading to misprogramming

Symptoms

Ethernet ports may not forward traffic properly due to defect leading to mis programming of hardware during different triggers e.g. link flap, pfe restart, reboot or configuration change.

It may drop the traffic entering the ethernet port or may send the traffic with wrong VLAN ids.
Following syslog may be seen during the issue.
fpc0 BRCM-VIRTUAL,brcm_vxlan_create_access_port(),XXXX:Failed to add port(aeXX) to vxlan BD(xx). Error: Internal error

Solution

As a restore, deactivate/activate configuration for the applicable interfaces.
