Firmware OS on the juniper switch placed with command >request system sofware add <FilePath> and need to remove it.

Need to remove a wrong package run after > request software add command.

If the device has not been rebooted yet we just need to run the command >request system software rollback. You will see the message that the pending installation was deleted. If the device was already rebooted, the same command is used but need to reboot the device again to load the previous package.

We can use also request system software delete jinstall.
