Description

MACSEC tunnel is up but not passing traffic and we can see FIPS is configured.

Symptoms

The MACSEC tunnel will not pass traffic. The tunnel shows it is up with an Inbound Channel and Outbound Channel and statistics show traffic being encrypted but not decrypted.

Solution

This issue is resolved in junos:21.2R3 junos:21.3R2 junos:21.4R1 junos:22.1R1 and onwards versions.
