Description

> The Port LEDs that indicate port activity might not blink to indicate link activity. This is observed when Fibre SFP is used. 
> The same issue is not seen, when a copper SFP is used. The link LEDs blink indicating link activity. 
> However, the status of the LED on the switch CLI does not mention "blinking" in both scenarios. Visually, the LED of the SFP-T port does blink - indicating link activity. 
> The issue is seen on other Junos Software versions as well. i.e 22.4R1-S1.1 & 22.2R3
> There are no abnormal logs seen on syslog and there is no impact to the traffic.

 

Solution

> There are no workarounds

> Software update is required to Junos:22.2R3-S1 and later versions.
