Description
When downgrading an NFX, from Junos 23.1 to a lower version of code, it may fail. It will require an intermediate version of code first, before you can downgrade to the targeted release.
Symptoms
Unable to downgrade code from Junos 23.1 to a lower version. The following symptom may appear:

Solution
In order to downgrade from Junos 23.1 to a lower version of code, this requires a 2-step downgrade process. The first step is to downgrade to one of the Junos versions listed below:
22.4R2
22.3R2
22.2R3
Once you have downgraded to one of the interim releases, you can then downgrade to the desired Junos version.
