Microsoft Outlook hangs when Traffic Logs are e-mailed from the NetScreen Device

Solution

Large plain text messages hang due to extra line breaks in Exchange

Per MSKB article 308319, when you open a large plain text message in Outlook, it may take a very long time to open and Outlook may appear to stop responding (hang), and your CPU utilization may go to 100 percent. This behavior can occur because you have the option to remove extra line breaks in plain text messages enabled.

If the text message is as large as the log, removing the extra line breaks takes a long time to do.'  Removing that option allows the mail to open regularly and receive the logs normally.
