Configuring Static ARP Entries in NSM

Symptoms


Solution

To configure static ARP entries in NSM, perform the following steps:

alt Connect to NetScreen-Security Manager (NSM). For more information, go to Connecting to the NetScreen-Security Manager [juniper.net] .

alt Expand Device Manager , and then click to select FW/VPN Devices .

alt From the FW/VPN Device Tree tab, right-click the device on which you want to configure static ARP entries, and then click Edit .

alt In the left pane, expand Network , expand Advanced , and then click to select ARP .

alt In the right pane, click the New button.

alt From the ARP Entry dialog box, in the IP Address text box, enter the IP address of the device.

alt In the Interface drop-down menu, click to select an interface.

alt In the MAC Address text box, enter the MAC address of the device.
