Why Did the HA Server Fail Over From the Primary to the Secondary?

Solution

The HA server continuously monitors the secondary server to see if it is active. It also monitors the network-reachable IP address defined during the installation.

Once the server is unable to reach the monitor IP address, the NetScreen-Security Manager (NSM) processes shut down, and the secondary server becomes active.
