Sending CLI Commands From NSM to a NetScreen Device

Symptoms


Solution

To send CLI commands from NSM to a NetScreen device, perform the following steps:

alt Connect to the NetScreen-Security Manager. For more information on this, go to Connecting to the NetScreen-Security Manager [juniper.net] .

alt Expand Realtime Monitor , and click to select Device Monitor .

alt From the Device Monitor screen, right-click the device for which you want to send the Command Line Interface (CLI) command(s) and click View Statistics .

note In order to send a device CLI commands, the Config Status must be Managed and the Conn. Status must be Up .

alt From the Device Statistics window, expand System , and click to select Troubleshooting .

alt In the Get Command text box, enter a command. Click Execute Command .

note The command results will display.

note To save the command as a shortcut, click Add to Shortcut .
