Users may often see "BRCM_NH-,brcm_nh_get_stats(),286:byte stats get failed for next hop" syslog messages generated on QFX branch devices running Junos OS Release 14.1X53 without any impact on the device that has the L3VPN configuration.
The messages are informational and can be safely ignored.

These are informational messages that do not have any service impact.
You can ignore the message because there is no impact. The messages have been removed in Junos OS Releases 14.1X53-D40, 15.1R5, 16.1R2 and later.
