This article describes how to add NX-OSv TCAM carving.

In order to apply TCAM carving, create a configlet that applies the below:

hardware access-list tcam region l3qos 0
hardware access-list tcam region racl 0
hardware access-list tcam region ifacl 0
hardware access-list tcam region vacl 0
hardware access-list tcam region arp-ether 256 double-wide

Note: It is important to use 'system top' as the configlet type. If not, the deployment may fail.

The only hard configuration requirement is the following:

hardware access-list tcam region arp-ether 256 double-wide

The above profile is a suggested configuration, where bits are removed from features that AOS does not yet use as part of the reference design. Specific carving is up to the user, but Juniper Apstra can assist in selecting the right values to carve from.
