In order to view plots/graphs in CTPView for greater than a 24-hour period, users will need to enable two scripts in the automatic functions section of the CTPView GUI.

This article describes how to enable the two scripts.

If you do not enable these scripts, the plots/graphs will still be produced but the plot line on the left side of the graph will be absent, which will prevent you from getting data for any period prior to the current day. For very long duration plots, there may be gaps in the plot line.

Here is a plot for a 12-hour period which looks normal (ignore the warnings in the images):

Here is a 48-hour plot, which is missing the plot line on the left side of the graphs and appears to start on Monday:

In order to produce plots/graphs with contiguous plot lines, you need to enable the following scripts in the automatic functions section of CTPView:

• Gather Remote Host Statistical Data

• Remove Outdated Data Files (there are 3 choices: 6 months, 9 months or 12 months)

You need to run these scripts every day at a time of your choosing. 

After these scripts have been enabled, the plot lines in the graphs will be contiguous as long as they have run for at least as long as the plot duration you set.
