This article lists some caveats or important details to consider when using NorthStar Controller to provision Cisco routers.

 

Solution

Assuming that the Cisco router is running IOS-XR, here are some caveats to consider:

  • Use netconf or update netconf template for the appropriate autoroute.

  • Update the Node Attribute to uncheck “Support Secondary Path” (otherwise you might end up seeing stray “ghost” LSPs).

  • For PCE control, configure delegation.

  • You might need to undelegate an LSP before deleting it.
