Description

QFX10002-60C does not support Junos only upgrade. Instead, a vmhost upgrade must be performed for this platform.

Solution

Upgrade steps for this specific platform:

  1. Download the vmhost image click here  and look for QFX10002-60C

  2. Copy the image into the switch to /var/tmp/

  3. Run the vmhost upgrade command: 

    > request vmhost software add /var/tmp/junos-vmhost-install-qfx-x86-64-18.1R1.9.tgz

  4. Reboot the device

    > request vmhost reboot
