Due to a parts restriction the above mentioned card has had a part depopulated on it and will not initialize on older versions of CTPOS (6.6R1 or older).
If you receive an RMA for a CTP2000-IM-8P-T1E1 line card and you are running CTPOS 6.6R1, or older, the line card will not initialize properly. The reburning of the FPGA which is customary when installing an RMA will complete and look normal but upon reboot you will not be able to enter menu. These are the symptoms you will see when you login as ctp_cmd and try to enter menu:

Upgrading to a CTPOS 7.3Rx or 9.x release will resolve this issue.
