This article explains how to save (export) the service template in CSD (Connectivity Services Director) and then import (upload) it so users can move the service templates to other CSD setups.
In the 'Applications' tab, select 'Service Activation Director'
Select the service template you want to export. Then click 'Actions' > 'Export Service Template'
>
Click 'Download file for selected template definitions in .TGZ format' where the file will then be downloaded (locally to User's laptop/computer) and it will be saved as a .TGZ format.
To import (upload) the service template, select NA-Design > Import Service Template. In the pop up box, use the 'Browse' button to find the file to be imported (uploaded).
Once the file has been selected, click 'Import'.
You will see a confirmation of the name and mapping. Click 'Import' again.
PLEASE NOTE: In the instructions above, this is done for a 'NA-design' service template. However, a 'TA-Design' service template can use the same steps to import/export the CSD service template. Make sure the files downloaded are in .TGZ file extension. Any file that is NOT uploaded as a .TGZ file extension will encounter issues.
