Description

This is a guide intended to help customers find the J-Web Application Packages such as 15.1A3 and/or ​15.1A4 for EX devices. 

Symptoms

A common misconception when looking for this software package is to go to the Juniper downloads website and type the specific platform in the search bar when searching for software packages.

When scrolling down, looking at the "Install Package" and "Tools" tabs, only a "J-Web User Interface Package" is seen. This leads to the misunderstanding  that the images ​of J-Web Application Packages 15.1A3 and/or ​15.1A4 are not publicly available for download. This is incorrect. It is just not listed in the packages for each platform.


Solution

To download the J-WEB packages follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Juniper download website: https://support.juniper.net/support/downloads/ 

  2. In the search bar, instead of typing the platform, type "J-Web Application Package for EX Series"​

  3. Scroll down and Select OS: J-Web and Version: Example 15.1

  4. Scroll down until you see: "Application Package" and select the package needed:
