Description

This article gives more information about the display problem observed on SRX1500 Series devices where "FPC0" is shown for power supply and fan tray when show chassis env is executed. It also indicates whether any action is required to resolve the issue.

 

Symptoms

When show chassis environment is executed on SRX1500, "FPC 0" is displayed in the Power Supply and Fan Tray output.

When the show chassis hardware details output is examined, however, "FPC 0" is not shown in Power Supply.

Solution

This is as per current design for SRX1500 and SRX4K Series devices, which follow the ToR Velocity Program (TVP) architecture as inherited from the QFX code.

 

No action is required because this is just a display issue and does not impact operation.
