When the show chassis fpc and show chassis fpc detail commands are executed on the MX204 router, no temperature value is displayed.
show chassis fpc
show chassis fpc detail
This article explains why no temperature value is displayed and whether some action is required to alter this behavior.
The output of the show chassis fpc and show chassis fpc detail commands display “N/A” or “Absent” as a placeholder of temperature value.

*From Junos OS 17.4R2, 18.1R1, and 18.2R1, show chassis fpc shows “N/A.”
The MX204 router has no board-specific temperature sensor and it is a single-board design with a logical Flexible PIC Concentrator (FPC). Therefore, the temperature field is not applicable on MX204.
For more information, see PR1263315 - Summit-1RU: "show chassis FPC" does not show temperature .
This is a designed behavior of the device and part of its specification. Hence, no action is required.
