This article details the process to mount a USB drive on an NFX device so that it can be used as a storage device to transfer image files when network access is not available.
This procedure is performed from Hypervisor on the NFX device:
root@jdm : ~# ssh hypervisor.
root@jdm
root@localhost:~#
Create a mount directory.
root@localhost:~# mkdir /var/usb
Mount /dev/sdb /var/usb .
/dev/sdb /var/usb
root@localhost:# mount /dev/sdb /var/usb
After it is mounted, change directory:
cd /var/usb
Show the contents of the directory:
root@nfx250-host:/var/usb# ls -l
total 96 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 32768 Jan 30 2017 System Volume Information drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 32768 Jul 26 20:14 test.img drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 32768 Jul 26 20:13 text.tgz
Show the partitions:
root@localhost:/var/usb# lsblk

Then copy the desired file from the USB drive to the appropriate directory on the NFX device:
root@nfx250-host:/var/tmp/usb# cp /var/third-party/test.img ./
