This article provides the steps to be performed to upgrade the NFX150 platform by using a USB drive.
Note: Screenshots for NFX150 are different than that for NFX250. For NFX250 USB upgrade steps, refer to KB31834 - [NFX] USB Upgrade [juniper.net] .
Plug in the USB drive with the bootable NFX software to the device.
Note: For steps on how to make a bootable USB from NFX software, refer to KB31832 - [NFX] How to make a bootable USB from NFX software [juniper.net] .
Reboot NFX.
Press Esc on the keyboard to enter in to boot options.
Navigate to the Boot menu (press the right arrow four times).
Press the down arrow to Boot Options #1, and then press Enter (this will allow you to select the USB device).
Select UEFI Patriot Memory PMAP, Partition 1.
Press the right arrow to access the Save & Exit menu.
Select "Install Juniper Linux with secure boot support."
