Revocation is the action of deleting an Activation and making the Entitlement (Activation Code) available for activation again. In this article, you will learn how to revoke a license.
Customers have the ability to perform a revoke action for active licenses in the Juniper Agile Licensing (JAL) portal. For subscriptions, this option is available until the expiry of the subscription, and for perpetual licenses only during the first 30 days. To revoke a previously activated license key, you need to perform the following steps:
To perform the revocations, go to the My Activations tab on the Juniper Agile Licensing portal.
Find the license that you would like to revoke. You may filter your search by Activation Date or by Device Serial Number, and then click Filter to start the search.
From the search results, select the product for which you need to revoke the license.
Click Revoke.
After the license has been revoked, the Activation Code can be used for a new activation. It can be viewed under My Entitlements, if the original activation was done from there.Alternatively, you may paste the Activation code manually and perform the Activation.Refer to KB9861 How to Activate and Install JUNOS License [juniper.net] for instructions on how to activate a license.
