Symptoms

The following syslog message is seen:

Solution

This syslog message appears if the 10G transceiver link goes down. This is specific for 10G LRM SFP+ or 7m DAC cables. The link will not come up due to a bug in the PHY firmware.

As a workaround, PHY firmware restarts to recover the link.

This message is expected when the interface flaps.
