This article describes the behavior of interface statistics for ‘Output errors’ drop counter and queue drops in the ‘show interfaces extensive’ output on ACX platform.
The ‘Output errors’ drop counter does not increment when queue drops are present in ‘show interfaces extensive’ output.

This is a day-1 function designed for ACX series routers. Queue drops will not be covered or counted under the drops counter of ‘Output errors’ seen in the ‘show interfaces extensive’ output. This behavior is applicable on Junos 15.1R3 and earlier versions.
